The program offers a balance between computational fluency and conceptual understanding, with lessons focusing on one skill at a time.It includes six elements: writing explanations for solutions, problem-solving, graphic organisers, numbers in context, assessment with test preparation, and challenge problems and class projects.


The series covers 12 mathematics strategies including building number sense, applying basic operations, working with measurements, and interpreting graphs and charts. The program is beneficial for its comprehensive approach to developing critical mathematical skills and strategies in students, offering a blend of theory and practical application.
